Sustainability and net zero

Lower running costs

Simulation-led sustainability work: climate, daylight, airflow and energy studies that shape the building before it is built, and the certifications that verify it afterwards.

What it covers

Analysis and modelling

  • Climatic studies
  • Solar and wind studies
  • CFD modelling
  • Heat island assessment
  • Façade optimisation
  • Daylight simulations
  • Artificial lighting simulations
  • Thermal comfort analysis
  • Energy modelling

Carbon and ESG

  • Renewable energy
  • Third-party commissioning
  • Life-cycle assessment
  • Carbon footprinting
  • Carbon emission reduction
  • ESG

Certifications

  • Green building
  • Wellness
  • Net zero
  • ECBC compliance

How we work

  1. Studies before the design is fixed

Climate, sun and wind studies come first, while the orientation, massing and façade of the building can still change.

  2. Each study answers a decision

Daylight simulation sets the glazing, airflow studies test natural ventilation and smoke, the heat island and thermal comfort studies shape the outdoors and the rooms, and the energy model compares systems before one is chosen.

  3. Verified by certification

We take buildings through green building ratings such as IGBC, GRIHA, EDGE and WELL, and through compliance with India's energy conservation code.

Our own office, designed the same way

AEON's head office in Noida is rated IGBC Platinum, EDGE Advanced and WELL. Solar panels meet about 40% of its energy needs, and daylight reaches every floor, the basement included.

Other services

  • Building services design

Full electro-mechanical design across mechanical, electrical, public health, fire and low-voltage systems - from concept through to commissioning.

  • BIM and coordination

We model building services in a coordinated digital environment, integrate them with architecture and structure, and resolve conflicts before they reach site.

  • Existing buildings

Evaluation of buildings in use - what was installed, how it performs, and where energy, water and comfort can be recovered.
